FlexEquip is a service of Motor Neurone Disease NSW (MND NSW) that assists adults with progressive neurological conditions get assistive technology (aids and equipment) to meet short to medium term needs.
After a health professional has assessed a patient’s needs and requirements in his/ her primary residence or an online referral is received for an item, a request for FlexEquip assistive technology (aids and equipment) can be processed.
These progressive neurological conditions include motor neurone disease and, for NDIS participants, motor neurone disease (MND) and other progressive neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a scheme of the Australian Government that funds costs associated with disability.
The equipments at FlexEquip can be loaned or rented to the patients for short to medium-term use. If FlexEquip agrees to loan an item to you, the rental cost of the assistive technology item provided to you is fully subsidised by MND NSW. The organization needed help with showcasing the equipment available for rent and automating the process of equipment loan/ rental.
The organization also needed help with automating the process of equipment loan amount repayments. The cost for the same can be covered either by NDIS or money can be raised from the donation pool, maintained by FlexEquip.
In terms of delivering fast work, I really count for this team. They converted my Idea as per my choice, exactly the same market currently need. Absolutely fine services, which makes me happy. Great consultant, a good listener and prompt result.
People suffering from MND need a lot of equipment to help them with their daily lives.
FlexEquip offers assistive technology rental for people who are NDIS participants who have MND, or other progressive neurological conditions. FlexEquip wanted a solution to automate collection of rentals from NDIS if funding is available in the assistive technology budget in a patients’s NDIS plan or from money raised from donations, government grants, or government benefit to the person with MND.
